Your Rights
Under applicable US state privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- Opt out of the "sale" of your personal information
- Opt out of the "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information
Our Practices
Mercator Union (operated by Mercator Nodes Limited) processes publicly available professional information as part of our B2B data services. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. To the extent that our provision of data to institutional partners may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under applicable state law, you have the right to opt out.
We do not process sensitive personal information as defined under the CPRA. We do not knowingly collect or process data relating to individuals under 16 years of age.
How to Opt Out
You can exercise your right to opt out by:
- Submitting a request through our Opt-Out form
- Emailing privacy@mercatorunion.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share"
We will process your request within 15 business days and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Verification
To process your request, we may need to verify your identity. We will ask you to provide sufficient information to allow us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected personal information.
Authorised Agents
You may designate an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf. Authorised agents must provide signed written authorisation and we may require you to verify your identity directly.
